Benchmark is an authorized stocking distributor for Preci-dip AS39029 contacts. All military contacts can be indentified by the M39029 series prefix (e.g. /XX) and BIN Code number. The first band is wider than the other two to further facilitate indentification.

The Bin code ID can also be stamped on the contact.

0 = Black, 1 = Brown, 2 = Red, 3 = Orange, 4 = Yellow,
5 = Green, 6 = Blue, 7 = Violet, 8 = Gray, 9 = White

For example, a BIN code appearing as Red (wide band closest to the wire barrel), Yellow and Black would designate the BIN code 240. This number appears as the suffix of the military part number M39029/31-240.
